Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader in Accounts Payable to join our Financial Services Section at Chandler Macleod. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a small team and managing daily tasks, including the processing of complex invoices and authorisation of payment runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a small team and coordinate daily tasks, including processing complex invoices and authorising payment runs.
- Liaise and communicate with key stakeholders regarding invoices, payments, and payment runs.
- Ensure compliance with the Department's payment timeframes, including the WoAG Pay on Time or Pay Interest Policy, and complete late payment reporting for management review.
- Monitor and action relevant late payments where interest is owing, and arrange payment to vendors.
- Complete and provide ANAO sample requests to the Assistant Manager.
- Contribute to and participate in Branch and team initiatives and programs.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is a requirement for the successful candidate.
- The successful candidate must hold Baseline Clearance.
