Strategic Account Manager for Defence Sector

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Public Sector and Defence business, you will be responsible for driving business growth within the Defence sector and fostering strategic relationships with key clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of digital transformation solutions and their application to the public sector. You will work closely with various Capgemini service lines to bring comprehensive solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with client objectives and delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute detailed account strategies to meet short and long-term goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new target accounts.
- Collaborate with Capgemini's internal teams to deliver client solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, playing a critical role in frontline business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field; or equivalent demonstratable experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or business development within the Defence and Defence Industries sector.
- Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complex business challenges.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
