**Job Overview**

As a key member of our international shipping operations, this role plays a pivotal part in facilitating the seamless execution of export shipments.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of trade documentation requirements and will be responsible for preparing and negotiating relevant documents to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with various business units to gather necessary information for document preparation
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in international trading terms and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements through meticulous knowledge of logistical and operational processes
  • Effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines despite shifting priorities
  • Providing support for internal checks and controls to maintain high standards of accuracy in documentation and workflow management

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a commodity and trade environment
  • In-depth understanding of trade terms in commercial contracts and Incoterms
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of Letter of Credit (L/C) negotiation
  • Ability to prepare and execute trade documents in accordance with contract and shipping instructions
  • Knowledge of Chamber/Customs/Quarantine and DAFF documentation is desirable
  • Excellent service skills and attention to detail
