Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an International Trade Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full shipment lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting customer requirements.
  • Maintain daily communication with customers, overseeing all related tasks and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, agents, and vendors through timely responses and issue resolution.
  • Provide quotes based on customer and network needs, ensuring full pricing understanding.
  • Offer track and trace services and generate shipment documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Operational Excellence: Understand international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology.
  • Financial Acumen: Input applicable financial components of shipments to generate correct billing for customers.
  • Critical Thinking: Apply industry knowledge to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges.
  • Shipment Execution: Coordinate tasks as per customer SOPs- booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, governmental filings, deliveries, and invoicing.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain high data integrity across all shipment details including INCOterms, routing, dates, and documentation.
