About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at Mounties Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for hardware and software issues across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk requests in a timely manner and record outcomes in the ticketing system.
  • Assist in day-to-day system troubleshooting of user hardware and software problems.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Perform installations and software upgrades.
  • Provide printer, laptop, and mobile device support.
  • Assist in coordination and implementation of system updates.
  • Troubleshoot, administer, and upgrade LAN/WAN infrastructure to maintain speed, security, and integrity.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Manage Virtual Machine infrastructure.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Help desk support and network management role.
  • Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365.
  • Virtual infrastructure experience.
  • Relevant qualification in Information Technology is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and work against multiple priorities.
  • High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential information.
