Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary:
APM WorkCare is seeking a qualified Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to deliver high-quality vocational rehabilitation services. As an experienced contractor, you will work independently with a supportive multidisciplinary team to provide tailored rehabilitation services to clients experiencing injury, illness, or disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive vocational and psychosocial assessments
- Develop and implement individualised return-to-work plans
- Provide counseling and support for physical and psychological injuries
- Liaise with employers, insurers, and health professionals
- Maintain accurate case notes and meet compliance standards
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology
- Full registration with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA
- Considerable experience working in occupational rehabilitation and a proven track record of contracting with other clients
- Strong communication and case management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
- Full driver's licence and own vehicle
