Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

As a skilled Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will deliver high-quality services across various schemes. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide tailored rehabilitation services to clients experiencing injury, illness, or disability.

You will be responsible for conducting vocational and psychosocial assessments, developing individualised return-to-work plans, and providing counselling and support for physical and psychological injuries.

Liaising with employers, insurers, and health professionals is also a key aspect of the role, as well as maintaining accurate case notes and meeting compliance standards.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology are essential, along with full registration with ASORC, AASW, or APHRA.
  • Considerable experience working in occupational rehabilitation and a proven track record of contracting with other clients is required.
  • Strong communication and case management skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload is also necessary.
  • A full driver's licence and own vehicle are required for this position.
