Rehabilitation Consultant Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans based on assessments relevant to your discipline.
  • Design and implement intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support individuals to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
  • Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to own vehicle).
  • Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
