Job Description:

As a rehabilitation consultant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. You will work with our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals to help clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Social Work (AASW).
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
  • Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
