The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying new clients. You will create and manage leads through the sales pipeline, tracking progress towards meeting activity metrics and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact new clients to add to our client base
  • Create and manage leads through the sales pipeline
  • Track progress towards meeting activity metrics and sales goals
  • Schedule highly qualified meetings from inbound and outbound campaigns within target accounts
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to facilitate outreach for new programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales prospecting experience through social media, cold callings, and emails
  • Core sales skills related to initiating conversations, uncovering basic needs, connecting needs to high-level IT services and solutions, and driving interest in continued discussion with sales team members
  • Previous experience with an IT Systems Integrator, MSP, or vendor is highly desirable
  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • A desire to learn and grow in IT sales
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
