We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Case Worker to join our Family Connect and Support Service in Tamworth. As a key member of our team, you will work with families to identify their strengths and needs, and provide support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of family strengths and needs
  • Determine appropriate referral pathways for families
  • Follow up with services to ensure successful engagement
  • Assess and manage child protection risks for families
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in the community
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and related tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree qualification in a related field
  • 12 months case management experience working with at risk children, young people and/or families in a child protection focused role
  • Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to use technology in service delivery
  • Ability to work unsupervised and remotely
  • High level of professional accountability and integrity
