About the Role:

At Challenge Community Services, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with families, carers, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to support children and young people in foster care. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a variety of cases, perform administrative duties, and document case notes from face-to-face meetings with children and carers.

About You:

  • You should be empathetic and dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
  • You should be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • You should be resilient and adaptable, understanding that plans may change and being flexible in your approach.
  • You should have relevant experience in a similar role or any position related to Out of Home Care.
  • You should be an outstanding communicator with excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • You should have strong written skills with proficiency in writing reports and completing formal documentation.
  • You should be computer literate with proficiency in using the MS Office suite of products.
  • You should be a team player and autonomous worker, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • You should be willing to work non-standard hours as required.
  • You should possess a current NSW Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Covid-19 vaccination.
  • You should have a valid Australian Driver's License.
