Job Overview

The role of the Trauma Informed Care Leader is a critical component of our organization's commitment to delivering exceptional services to victim-survivors of Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence (FDSV) in Southwestern Sydney.

This position requires an experienced and compassionate leader who can provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance, service delivery, team performance, and clinical standards.

About The Role

  • Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams to ensure delivery of high-quality trauma-informed care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client outcomes, staff development, and community partnerships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build relationships and achieve client, community, and funding objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of trauma-informed care policies and procedures.
  2. Oversee the coordination of services to ensure seamless delivery and optimal client outcomes.
  3. Foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication among team members.
  4. Support staff in managing complex and high-needs clients, ensuring care aligns with qualifications and service scope.

Requirements

  • Ambitious and results-driven leader with experience in coordinating services and guiding teams to deliver client outcomes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work, nursing, or related field.
  • Certified Working with Children Check.
