
Lead Trauma-Informed Care Specialist

CatholicCare Sydney is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to lead our Support Recovery Program, delivering trauma-informed mental health care to victim-survivors of Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence across Southwest Sydney.
This transformative initiative supports individuals and families in their long-term recovery, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs. As a key leader, you will drive excellence in trauma-informed care, working closely with a team of multi-disciplinary practitioners to achieve meaningful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and offer expert guidance on service delivery, team performance, and clinical standards.
- Support staff in managing complex and high-needs clients, ensuring care aligns with qualifications and service scope.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet client, community, and funding objectives.
What You'll Bring:
- A proven track record of coordinating services and guiding individuals and teams to deliver impactful client outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work, nursing, or a related field.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared goals.
- Solid understanding of child protection, domestic and family violence legislation, and other frameworks relevant to service delivery.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, paired with strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
