About the Role:

Green Light is seeking an experienced Cisco Audio Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing (VC) Technician to work onsite in our Canberra offices. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving video conferencing and audio visual infrastructure to enable more effective and efficient use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain system security and monitor and analyse VC/AV performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation outlining installation and commissioning of VC/AV solutions.
  • Development of appropriate contingency plans should IT/AV equipment fail.
  • Identify and escalate any risks and assist in their resolution.
  • Use software and hardware skills to maintain and enhance system configuration.
  • Expected to follow IT asset management practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working as a Cisco AV and VC Technician with minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AV infrastructure systems.
  • Expertise with AV technologies such as tablet touch screens, network amplifiers, mobile AV carts, interactive touch displays, USB bridges, HD capture dongles, microphones, visual displays, audio conferencing processors, LCD laser projectors, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cisco IT/AV technology usage in corporate/commercial settings.
  • Sound knowledge of the ITIL framework.
  • Certified Cisco - CCNA or CVNS.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical language into easy-to-understand language.
