Key Account Specialist - Food Industry

About the Role

The company is a leading distributor of medical, pharmaceutical and scientific products in ANZ. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Specialist to join our team and manage existing accounts and develop new opportunities within the food industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support with respect to account management, product introduction and training as required.
  • Liaise with key opinion leaders and senior management within food-related laboratories.
  • Represent the company and product range at conferences and tradeshows.
  • Business Development Focused - engage with the national team to drive market growth, create market plans and strategies to support growth.
  • Meet agreed key performance indicators and monitor personal performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science or Similar.
  • An understanding of food microbes and pathogens.
  • Previous business development experience (selling into the food industry would be highly regarded).
  • Current VIC Drivers Licence.
