About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with Aurrum Aged Care, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, resident-centred care. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualised care plans that promote the health, well-being, and happiness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with residents, their families, and relevant health professionals to coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions to promote the well-being of residents.
  • Oversee care delivery to ensure optimal outcomes for residents.
  • Develop plans of care in consultation with residents, their families, and relevant others, which meet the needs, goals, and preferences of residents.
  • Monitor residents' health status and, using your clinical judgement, escalate any concerns.
  • Report and record information relevant to residents' care and condition, ensuring confidentiality, in line with Australian Aged Care legislation, Aurrum policies and procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Offer guidance and leadership to other team members and students.
Requirements
  • Current registration with APHRA as a registered nurse.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (for NDIS homes) & Police Check.
  • Membership to a professional association (such as the Australian College of Nursing) is desirable.
  • Ability to work as a team player with strong communication and computer skills.
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with residents and colleagues.
