Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and coordination of care delivery to ensure safe, effective, and individualized care.
- Assist residents to lead an active and meaningful life, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Order, manage, and administer medications in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and follow legislative guidelines for medication administration.
- Complete necessary reports, care plans, and documentation.
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- A strong understanding of The Salvation Army's values and ethos.
- Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
- Demonstrated aged care experience, with the ability to work collaboratively and promote education and leadership.
- An understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Experience in developing care plans and understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Funding Instrument (AN-ACC) and National NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in computer and documentation systems.
