ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive care aimed at promoting the health and well-being of our residents. You will cultivate meaningful relationships with the residents, their families, and your colleagues.

Additional Role Information:

  • Sign-on bonus of up to $4,000 (pro-rated)
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Collaboration with two other Registered Nurses

ABOUT YOU

We invite applications from individuals who share our commitment to exceptional care and possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in aged care is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with proficiency in computer usage
  • A compassionate, dedicated, and caring demeanor, with the ability to establish strong connections with residents and team members
  • Current registration with APHRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (for NDIS homes) and Police Check
  • Membership in a professional association (such as the Australian College of Nursing) is advantageous.

Under the guidance of the Care Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with residents, their families, and relevant health professionals to coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Provide evidence-based clinical interventions to enhance residents' well-being
  • Oversee the delivery of care to ensure optimal outcomes for residents
  • Develop care plans in consultation with residents and their families, aligning with their needs, goals, and preferences
  • Monitor residents' health status and utilize clinical judgment to escalate concerns as necessary
  • Document and report information pertinent to residents' care and condition, ensuring confidentiality in accordance with Australian Aged Care legislation and Aurrum policies
  • Offer mentorship and leadership to fellow team members and students
  • Exhibit flexibility in working schedules from Monday to Sunday via our mobile-friendly rostering application
