About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Delivering evidence-based clinical interventions to promote the well-being of residents.
  • Overseeing care delivery to ensure optimal outcomes for residents.
  • Developing plans of care in consultation with residents, their families, and relevant others, which meet the needs, goals, and preferences of residents.
  • Monitoring residents' health status and escalating any concerns using your clinical judgment.
  • Reporting and recording information relevant to residents' care and condition, ensuring confidentiality, in line with Australian Aged Care legislation, Aurrum policies and procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Providing guidance and leadership to other team members and students.
About You

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who shares our passion for delivering exceptional care. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in an aged care environment (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work as a team player with strong communication and computer skills.
  • Compassionate, dedicated, and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with residents and colleagues.
  • Current registration with APHRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (for NDIS homes) & Police Check.
  • Membership to a professional association (such as the Australian College of Nursing) is desirable.
