About the Role

The Indigenous Accounts Manager plays a vital role in facilitating job opportunities and providing holistic support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Working closely with employers across South Australia, you will develop marketing strategies, secure job placements, and lead important projects to promote employment outcomes.

Collaborating with our team, you will directly benefit customers by helping employers establish culturally safe workplaces and develop their cultural competency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through partnerships with local businesses and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and business development strategies to engage with employers and promote job opportunities.
  • Provide holistic support to jobseekers, focusing on their individual needs and goals, and help them transition into paid employment.
  • Lead and coordinate key projects and initiatives that promote employment and community outcomes, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive customer-centric solutions and improve employment outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of the social and economic challenges facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and a passion for addressing these issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, employers, and colleagues.
  • Strong passion for helping people find employment, with experience in employment services, customer service, retail, hospitality, or call centre industries.
  • Ability to use computer software (Microsoft Office) and have good typing skills, with experience in data entry and administration.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence valid in South Australia.
