About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Risk Management Expert to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in advising clients on risk management and compliance.

Job Overview

As a Strategic Risk Management Expert, you will be working with both government and non-government clients to deliver core project risk and compliance solutions. Your work will include supporting and advising clients on the development and implementation of risk frameworks, assessment of risk programs, implementation of controls testing and uplift, as well as design and implementation of compliance programs.

About You

  • You are an experienced consultant with demonstrated capability and expertise in advising clients on risk and/or compliance management.
  • 3-5 years' experience ideally in a client-facing role within a well-respected consulting firm. Candidates with a minimum of 4 years' experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit, preferably with listed companies, will also be considered.
  • Experience in the infrastructure, projects or property industry is essential.
  • You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, adaptable, and humble.
  • You have proven experience delivering high-quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines.
  • You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client-focused way.
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on attention to detail. You will have experience writing a range of business documents including reports, letters, and proposals.
  • You have experience providing the highest quality service to clients and fostering professional and commercial relationships with a range of stakeholders.
