Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Risk Officer to provide independent oversight, review, and challenge of the technology risk profile. This includes valuable insights derived from emerging trends. The ideal candidate will have extensive technology risk expertise in a large, complex, highly regulated organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor technology strategy and risk management within risk appetite
  • Oversee and challenge technology, cyber, and data risk management, including control design and implementation, as well as managing risk during change
  • Provide an independent view of residual risk exposure, adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Independently escalate technology, cyber, and data risk matters to appropriate governance forums
  • Oversee technology issue, incident, and breach management
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive knowledge of industry cybersecurity standards such as NIST, Essential 8, ISO27000, and PCI DSS
  • Ability to identify risks and adjust resources and delivery approach accordingly
  • Strong understanding of governance and experience in stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and leading others
