Job Title: Senior IT Systems Support Specialist

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring that operational processes run smoothly, enabling users to conduct their day-to-day activities efficiently. The successful candidate will provide effective ongoing support services for approved council applications from initial installation to maintenance and further custom design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support corporate systems in a large government or commercial setting, including business as usual support, lifecycle and business system architecture planning.
  • Provide excellent understanding of industry trends, problem-solving, advanced analytical and troubleshooting ability to help reduce business costs and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage a broad spectrum of relationships and partnerships within a highly complex multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills, written and oral communication skills including documenting, requirement building (RFP), presenting findings and outcomes; and report writing.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Services/Information Technology/Computer Science or similar relevant discipline with extensive relevant practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing system integration.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and collaborative environment, manage time and meet deadlines.
