As an Engineering System Requirements Specialist at KBR, Inc., you will be responsible for deriving, analysing, and managing system requirements to ensure they align with project objectives and client needs. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the AU defence sector and contribute to the development of complex defence systems.

**Estimated Salary:** $140,000 - $200,000 per annum

**Job Description:**

Key Responsibilities:
  • Derive and analyse system requirements to ensure alignment with high-level system requirements and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document detailed system requirements, including performance, functional, and interface requirements.
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the development of verification and validation plans to confirm that systems meet all derived requirements.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, preferably within the mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering, with a focus on requirements derivation.
  • Familiarity with defence systems and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
