Technical Support Specialist
Job Description:The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of security and inspection systems worldwide. Our team is responsible for designing, manufacturing, and marketing these systems to meet the most demanding threat detection needs.
This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining our Checkpoint & Trace products at customer sites.
Responsibilities include routine preventative and breakdown maintenance, providing out-of-hour standby cover, carrying out basic Operator and Technical training, conducting site surveys, and completing all reporting requirements in a timely manner.
Additionally, this role involves traveling as required and upholding the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Min 2+ Years of experience in similar role
- Electrical/Electronic background preferred
- High level of organizational skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage responsibility in an independent manner
- Exceptional attention to detail & capability to develop detailed processes
- Ability to multi-task
- Successful record of on-time project delivery
- Able to quickly grasp new technologies at a high level
- Ability to manage conflict and liaise with demanding clients
- Strong Client relationship skills
- Strong ability to represent a professional image onsite
- PC literate and Microsoft knowledge required
- Availability for some after-hours work
