Field and Support Desk Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team at Trucell Australia as a Field and Support Desk Technician.

  • Support our Business Development Manager with local sales projects and local support services.
  • Attend to jobs locally, ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients in Western Australia.
  • Collaborate with the technical team, providing and receiving support for various tasks and requests.

Initially working from home, you will transition to an office environment as we establish a physical presence in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

A strong proficiency in configuring, installing, monitoring, supporting, and managing ICT environments is essential. Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting, cloud services, and virtualisation technologies is highly desirable.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 1 year of IT experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.
Operational Abilities

You will be required to:

  • Follow defined service quality standards and occupational health and safety policies.
  • Provide operational support to client sites as required.
  • Develop and maintain ICT documentation.
  • Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workflows.
Soft Skills

  • Ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with others.
