Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

A career as a Field Service Engineer offers the opportunity to support the growth of businesses across Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of scientific instrumentation
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers
  • Managing customer expectations through clear communication and follow-up plans if needed
  • Ensuring customer compliance with regulations
  • Managing service inventory according to company policies
  • Issuing daily field service reports to document work performed
  • Maintaining sound knowledge of technology and customer application demands
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales
  • Ensuring quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or other science-related field
  • 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting
  • Understanding of scientific application workflow and scientific software systems

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position with territory-based travel and occasional international travel for meetings and training. The role will be designated to either a territory and/or market.
