Salt is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join their team in Parramatta, New South Wales. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with application support and be able to manage third-party applications with ease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective governance and reporting regimes for the IT application portfolio to ensure alignment with business needs and stakeholder understanding;
  • Manage third-party applications, assist with incident management;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver consistent service levels;
  • Provide expert consultancy and support for application development, especially during major incidents, to meet business needs effectively;
  • Handle complex issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with application support;
  • Experience managing third-party applications;
  • Experience with incident management;
  • Service Now experience or knowledge would be beneficial;
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
Benefits:

This is a contract position offering A$80,000.00-A$105,000.00 per year. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment with regular office hours in Parramatta. This role involves supporting efficient and effective application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business technical needs and adherence to service level agreements through continuous improvement strategies.
