
Leader of Sales Engineering Strategy

As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for driving the Commercial & Mid-Market Sales Engineering strategy across Asia-Pacific and Japan. This role involves leading a high-performing team to drive technical sales success at scale.
This position requires an exceptional leader who can build, scale, and mentor a distributed team of Sales Engineers. You will also be responsible for defining the technical sales strategy for high-velocity segments, tailoring it to local business dynamics and customer maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive talent strategy across the region, including hiring, onboarding, and retention planning.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to support pipeline growth, deal acceleration, and rep enablement in high-volume sales motions.
- Cross-functional collaboration and global influence by aligning closely with Sales, Enablement, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or similar pre-sales leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in enterprise SaaS, cloud, observability, and security solutions.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
