The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer with 3-7 years of relevant industry experience. This role is part of our growing Engineering team, offering opportunities for building new organizational capabilities. As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will collaborate with our customers, integration and field service engineers, and production organization to achieve successful product support and continuously improve our products to meet the demands of a growing market.
This role requires applying problem-solving skills to respond to stakeholder needs, determining and implementing design updates with associated certification as required, planning implementations, and continuously improving HeliMods' organizational capabilities in test, technical data, and training.
You will have the opportunity to learn from internationally experienced engineers, lead our up-and-coming talent, work with state-of-the-art airframes in our world-class facility, and drive the best available technology in an energetic, collaborative, and innovative culture that recognizes performance and celebrates success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding work with minimal guidance, managing time and priorities efficiently and effectively
- Be multi-disciplined and adapt quickly to the needs of the situation
- Provide sound, well-considered technical input, thrive under pressure, and expect a lot from yourself
- Involves all members of the team, takes responsibility for their role in the team, and communicates well with both internal and external stakeholders
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly interested in Avionics, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering specialities
- 3-7 years of relevant avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in conducting test and reviews of physical products, systems, and PCBAs for embedded systems
- Demonstrated experience in technical content generation and associated training to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with an ability to advocate for the customer with internal stakeholders
- Experience with design software and simulation tools software for circuit design and analysis (Altium, Zuken)
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software (Siemens Teamcenter preferred)
- The energy, intelligence, and initiative to proactively overcome industries' toughest challenges
- Experience collaborating with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions
- Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21 strongly desirable
- A structured approach to working with an ability to deliver despite ambiguity that allows you to thrive in a highly autonomous environment
