In line with our Strategic Plan, we are growing nationally and in select global markets. To support our growth plans, we are seeking a Product Support Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer with 3-7 years of relevant industry experience who has a real passion for technology and innovation. This position is within a growing part of our Engineering team and provides opportunities for building new organizational capability.

As a member of our Electrical Engineering team, you will collaborate with all our important customers, our integration and field service engineers, and our production organization to achieve successful product support and continuously improve our products to service a growing market.

You will apply problem-solving skills to respond to stakeholder needs, determine and implement design updates with associated certification as required, plan implementations, and continuously improve HeliMods organizational capabilities in test, technical data, and training.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in any relevant engineering discipline, particularly interested in Avionics, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering specialties.
  • 3-7 years of relevant avionics, electrical, or electronics engineering industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting test and reviews of physical products, systems, and PCBAs for embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical content generation and associated training to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with an ability to advocate for the customer with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with design software and simulation tools software for circuit design and analysis, such as Altium or Zuken.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, particularly Siemens NX.
  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management software, particularly Siemens Teamcenter.
  • The energy, intelligence, and initiative to proactively overcome industries' toughest challenges.
  • Experience collaborating with design engineers and other stakeholders to address non-compliance issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Good working knowledge of CASR Part 21, strongly desirable.
  • A structured approach to working with an ability to deliver despite ambiguity that allows you to thrive in a highly autonomous environment.
