The Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager - Supply Chain Excellence Lead to oversee the Fresh Market, Fruit & Veg, Ambient, and Replenishment departments. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that the freshest products are consistently available to customers while adhering to all food safety and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Inventory Routines: Achieve complete orders, minimise Out of Stocks (OOS), and maintain inventory health.
  • Ensure Food Safety Compliance: Oversee compliance with all food safety processes, including fresh prep areas, department food safety documentation, and date codes.
  • Collaborate with eCom Team: Work with the eCom team to identify and capitalise on opportunities, ensuring complete orders and the freshest quality every time.
  • Drive Growth and Improvement: Collaborate with the broader business and peers within CFCs to drive growth and improvement.
  • Coach and Develop On-Site Talent: Coach and develop on-site talent to build a strong future talent pipeline and support team members in reaching their career goals.

What We Offer

Requirements

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in retail leadership roles, preferably in supply chain management.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in coaching and developing teams.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledgeable in inventory management, production, and replenishment practices.
  • Team Leadership: Experienced in leading and developing diverse teams, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
