Maintenance Manager | Newcastle Health Sector | BGIS

As a seasoned Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance operations within the health sector in Newcastle. If you have a background in maintaining large facilities or venues and are committed to safety, this is your opportunity to make a positive impact in a critical healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Planned and Reactive Maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Building Services to ensure smooth operations in a healthcare setting.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet service delivery standards and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for all occupants.
  • Provide estimates, manage budgets, and ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You Bring:

  • Proven maintenance experience in managing large-scale facilities or venues.
  • Must have: Working with Children Check (WWCC) and all vaccinations up to date.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
  • Familiarity with using an online Work Order Management System and a strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
