As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving livestock sales, and identifying new business opportunities within your territory. You will be responsible for assessing and preparing livestock for market to obtain maximum value for clients.
About the Role:
You will enjoy a varied day including:
- Maintaining professional relationships and growing a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
- Identifying and cultivating new livestock sales opportunities
- Developing and growing relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors
- Providing professional onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
- Employing tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
- Maximising promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
- Auctioneering at the weekly Sale
About You:
To succeed in this role, you have:A Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the agriculture sector, and an understanding of seasonal requirements
Strong understanding of livestock breeds, vet products, and low-stress stock handling, with a passion for driving client relationships and sales
Commitment to positively affecting real change for both your clients and your community
Ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients
