Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Account Manager (internally referred to as Sales Specialist) to oversee our Professional (out of home) sector in the Brisbane metropolitan area. This role will primarily focus on prospecting new accounts within the Clubs & Leisure segments while also managing a portfolio of existing clients in the Hotels, Healthcare, and Café sectors. You will have access to renowned brand tools such as Piazza D'oro, Espresso di Manfredi, L'OR, Pickwick, and Moccona to enhance your sales efforts.

Team Environment

You will be part of a knowledgeable and supportive team that will provide you with valuable insights into the coffee industry. Your responsibilities will involve significant travel to engage with new customers, alongside managing current accounts. One day each week will be dedicated to administrative tasks at our Brisbane office, where you will collaborate with your team to share successes and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new accounts within your designated segments in Brisbane.
  • Manage a direct customer base of approximately 50 accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth by recognizing opportunities with existing clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure clear communication and accountability.
  • Take charge of account management, financial analysis, and business development opportunities, supported by a dedicated team.
  • Establish a structured call cycle while maintaining flexibility in your approach.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in sectors such as Cafés, Hotels, Healthcare, and Clubs.
  • Experience in the coffee industry is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for coffee and the ability to engage with customers professionally.
  • Comfortable working independently while on the road and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A proactive mindset with enthusiasm for exploring commercial opportunities in the Brisbane area.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A valid driver's license and long-term work rights in Australia.
