About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing the effectiveness of controls to ensure ING meets its compliance obligations. This includes leading and performing second-line quality assurance reviews on various compliance topics, such as KYC, Data Privacy, and Conduct Compliance related matters for corporate and retail customers.

  • You will also lead and perform second-line monitoring activities aligned to the Compliance Monitoring Plan to assess the design and effectiveness of controls.
  • You will engage with business stakeholders to present findings, identify and track improvement actions.
Requirements:
  • You should have experience across control testing, performing an assurance review, and assessing compliance with obligations as well as identifying observations for improvement.
  • You should have 7+ years' financial services experience and 4 or more years' experience within risk management, compliance, assurance and/or audit.
  • You should have relevant knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and industry code obligations as they relate to ING.
  • You should be able to articulate and write clear and factually correct review reports.
  • You should have an analytical mindset with the ability to research, interpret and assess compliance with applicable obligations and identify potential issues quickly and coordinate for acceptable outcomes with relevant stakeholders.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $150,000 per year, plus benefits such as discounted ING Health Insurance and an additional Rest Day to support their wellbeing.
