We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Technology Risk team in Sydney. This is a 18-month fixed-term opportunity that will play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets regulatory obligations related to CPS 230 and DORA.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in technology risk, operational risk, and/or compliance roles in banking, with a focus on interpreting and applying regulatory requirements. They will also possess well-developed analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization to identify, document, and map existing controls and risks to obligations, as well as coordinate the implementation of new prudential standards and regulations. The ability to navigate ambiguity, work autonomously, and communicate effectively with all levels of management is essential.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards for a senior compliance specialist in Sydney.
