About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Société Générale Assurances.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support the Australia Compliance team with day-to-day Compliance tasks, including tracking interactions with regulators, responding to inquiries, and implementing supporting documentation. They will also contribute to robust compliance controls within the organization and assist with Committee meeting materials preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and document interactions with Australian regulators in an organized manner.
  • Respond to regulator inquiries in written form or on conference calls.
  • Execute the implementation of supporting documentation required for regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to effective compliance controls and risk management.
  • Assist with Committee meeting materials preparation and other daily tasks.
  • Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Law and another discipline (Arts, Commerce, Economics, or Science) or Business degree.
  • Competency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office generally.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian laws, regulations, and guidelines related to banking and financing activities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex documents and policies.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $90,000 - $110,000 AUD per annum, based on experience and qualifications. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
