Senior Regulatory Officer Job

About the Role:

The Senior Regulatory Officer will manage complex matters as allocated to support members of the public in exercising their rights to information access and privacy. This includes implementing approaches to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Case manage files within set timeframes to achieve quality outcomes and organisational goals.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with complainants and agencies through regular liaison and consultation.
  • Support the achievement of timeliness and quality standards by team members to meet the challenges of a high volume, complex work environment.
  • Perform administrative and system activities to ensure the effective functioning of the team.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Effectively manage caseloads and projects to ensure time and quality standards are achieved.
  • Communicate regularly with external parties to facilitate early resolution on sometimes sensitive and controversial issues.
  • Manage a range of tasks including research, analysis, and project management to support regulatory compliance activities.

What's On Offer?

This contract is available for an initial 8-month term with likely extension options. The role can be performed from Sydney CBD – Hybrid working. Candidates must have full Australian Work Rights.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
