As a member of the management team, you will participate in the development of short and long-term strategy and the deployment of operational systems.
Key Responsibilities- Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to support business growth, including better management reporting, information flow, and management.
- Drive cross-functional processes to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall business performance.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
- Drive LEAN and other continuous improvement projects to improve overall operation performance.
- Organize, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive program management regimen that meets customer expectations and monitors the project management system in practice.
- Work closely with sales and product management to develop and manage forecasts for long-range supply planning, considering current inventory, lead times, and product cost.
- Direct annual budgeting and planning process for operations annual budgets and department budgets to align with annual business objectives.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of operations financial performance against budget, financial, and operational goals.
- Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
- Manage activities related to manufacturing, engineering, documentation control, and support environmental, health, and safety for the operation.
- Attract, develop, and retain operations talent to increase operational bench strength and provide career growth opportunities within the organization.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe working environment and must observe all company rules and regulations, including safety, use of personal protective equipment, and quality of work.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience working in a leadership role.
- 8+ years' experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong background and work experience in LEAN manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Solid analytics and understanding of financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
- Proven ability to simultaneously project, manage multiple high-impact projects; short and long-term goal planning.
- Solid understanding of finance, operation management, manufacturing resource planning, people development, materials procurement, product costing, inventory management, and quality operating system.
