About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data in our Xero accounting system.
  • Accounting and Reconciliation: Perform month-end reconciliation work to ensure data reliability and accuracy.
  • Communication and Liaison: Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve any unusual data discrepancies.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including tasks such as document posting, photocopying, and coordinating office purchases.
  • Service Agreement Management: Create and amend service agreements, and follow up on incomplete billings.
  • Verification and Liaison: Verify bills and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum degree qualification in finance or accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient use of Xero accounting system.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly developed organizational and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Commitment: Commitment to supporting the needs of people with a disability.
