Townsville Family Mediator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to join our team in Townsville.
- This role involves providing information, support, counselling, and mediation to separating couples and families. You will facilitate negotiations that prioritize the best interests of children and young people, while maintaining accurate records, case notes, and reporting in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Law, Family Dispute Resolution, or Mediation;
- Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (or eligibility to obtain registration);
- Demonstrated experience in family dispute resolution and child-inclusive practices;
- Strong communication, assessment, and case management skills;
- The ability to maintain professional standards in line with legislation and FDR accreditation requirements;
- A current driver's licence, Blue Card, and ability to obtain a Disability Worker Screening clearance.
