Family Relationship Centre Manager

This role is a key leadership position within our organisation, responsible for overseeing the operations of the Family Relationship Centre in Townsville. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing staff, ensuring program performance and outcomes evaluation, and undertaking family dispute resolution and case management with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Family Relationship Centre team, ensuring effective day-to-day operational needs are met.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure all recommendations and practices comply with relevant legislation, including the Family Law Act 1975 and the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2008, and maintain accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
  • Client Services: Deliver high-quality family dispute resolution and case management services to clients, applying knowledge of theoretical models and frameworks to ensure practice is appropriate to client needs.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Law, or Family Dispute Resolution/Mediation.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in family law contexts and environments.
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner or eligibility to obtain registration.
