Insurance Portfolio Growth Manager

As a key member of the underwriting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire underwriting process for new and existing business portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement underwriting strategies to achieve portfolio growth targets.
- Lead and mentor junior underwriters to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to report on portfolio performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, preparing reports on portfolio performance, participating in audits and compliance requirements, and ensuring accurate documentation.
Requirements and Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Highly organised and methodical approach to working practices.
- Extensive knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks and compliance environments.
- Sound analytical skills with ability to prioritise and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills and market presence.
Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting or a similar role is required, along with demonstrable ability to grow a profitable portfolio.
