Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our fast-paced sales team, focusing on local market expansion. This role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies, targeting new business opportunities, and fostering existing relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Proactively targeting new business opportunities for The Star Sydney hotels and event space
  • Conducting site inspections, client meetings, sales calls, and client entertainment to meet personal and team KPIs
  • Performing administrative tasks involved in documenting client activity, preparing proposals, and contracts
  • Preparing and attending trade show activities throughout the year
  • Developing and maintaining individual Account Management Plans
  • Participating in sales activities to generate sales
  • Assisting in the development of annual business and marketing plans

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • A Special Employee Casino Licence (Gold Licence)
  • Gaming/Sales experience is advantageous
  • Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in commercial or related field will be advantageous
  • Second language (e.g., Mandarin and/or Cantonese) will be advantageous
