Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Education Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operationalise the Board's Strategy: Implement the strategic plan for education and training delivery in ALPA communities and businesses.
  • Maximise Quality and Commercial Outcomes: Lead the development and implementation of effective leadership and management strategies to maximise the quality of delivery and commercial outcomes for Retail and Community Services training streams.
  • Develop Additional Income Streams: Identify and develop new accredited and non-accredited income streams through direct delivery or partnerships.
  • Lead Grant Applications and Funding Requests: Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications and internal funding requests, along with viable business plans, to expand service delivery and increase revenue sources.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of educators and administrative staff.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the Education and Training Department budget.
  • Nurture Relationships: Foster relationships across the higher education, training, and Indigenous Corporations space.
About You
  • Management Experience: Significant experience working in a management role for a Registered Training Organisation.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment: Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • People Management: Significant people management experience.
  • Government Contract Management: Experience managing and acquitting government training contracts, grants, and fee-for-service programs.
  • Project and Budget Management: Project and budget management experience.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
