Medical Director of Training and Development

**About the Role**
The RACGP is seeking a highly experienced Medical Director of Training and Development to lead medical education in the Northern Territory. As Regional Director of Training, you will manage regional and local medical educator teams to deliver high-quality GP training and support registrar progression through exams and remediation processes.
This is a unique opportunity to drive workforce planning and manage training site capacity to meet regional needs. You will develop and support Rural Generalist (RG) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training pathways.
Key responsibilities include overseeing training site and supervisor accreditation, providing educational support through workshops, supervisor training, and registrar exam preparation, as well as collaborating with the National Director of Training on strategic direction for the national educational program.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Extensive experience in senior medical education roles with a focus on team development and leadership.
- Proven stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
- Deep understanding of workforce planning, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
- Fellow of the RACGP or equivalent.
**Estimated Salary:** AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
