We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank as an Indigenous Banking Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding customer service to Indigenous customers in Far North QLD and surrounding islands, NT, WA & far North SA.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that our Indigenous customers have access to the Bank's wide range of products and services.
The role involves working with stakeholders, Community and Government Services, to support the bigger picture of assisting Indigenous customers with their everyday banking. You will be an ambassador for our team, promoting the Bank's self-service options and identifying issues and service gaps.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to develop and implement strategies to improve our services for Indigenous customers. This is a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of Indigenous Australians.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Australian Indigenous communities, cultures, and the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. You will be passionate about building positive relationships with our Indigenous customers and communities.
You will have a strong customer service background, with experience working in a team environment. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
