Job Opportunity: Safety and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead safety initiatives, drive risk management, and champion wellbeing programs. The successful candidate will join our high-performing team at our Sydney Fulfilment Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safety strategies that promote a healthy and engaged workforce
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans across people, processes, and places
  • Design and deliver wellbeing programs that make a real difference in employee lives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and self-insurance requirements
  • Coach leaders, investigate incidents, and provide impactful training to the team
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing
  • Sound technical knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and consultation skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel (formulas, pivot tables), online reporting, and iOS devices
  • Completion of Return-to-Work Coordinator and ICAM Incident Investigation training, as well as Traffic Management training, will be advantageous
  • Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are required
